skilling up to effect radical change

We know that in order to effect radical change, we need to understand the world around us, how we got here and what the alternative looks like. To win that alternative though, we need to build an effective movement, that is skilled, informed and empowered to force change.

Press and Media Training with Chris Jarvis

Chris is a campaigner, writer and journalist. He has been a member of the Green Party for eleven years and has served on the executive of the Young Greens three times. He has over a decade of experience in press work, having garnered high profile press coverage for grassroots campaigns, unions and the student movement. In his work in journalism, Chris co-founded The Norwich Radical, has edited Bright Green since 2019 and has had bylines in Tribune, the New Internationalist, The Canary, openDemocracy among others.

Campaign Organiser Training with Tyrone Scott

Tyrone joined the Green Party 7 years ago and has been a campaigner for climate justice ever since. He recently stood as a candidate in the 2019 General Election in Hackney South and Shoreditch and saw the Green Party vote share double. He has contributed to articles about the climate crisis and spent many days and nights demonstrating on the streets. Born in Germany, to a German mother and British-Jamaican father, Tyrone feels these multicultural roots have contributed to his concern for a crisis which is global and affects us all. He also works for a housing charity as a Community Organiser helping lead local campaigns and served as a Campaigns Officer for the Young Green Party of England and Wales for 18 months and is now on the Executive Committee of the Young Greens of Colour.
